Hey Des Moines peeps! It’s finally 80/35 time!!! Yes, I am using an excessive amount of exclamation points because I am really excited. I love music festivals, and I love them even more when they are in my hood. It is going to be a scorcher this weekend so please be sure to stay hydrated and wear sunblock. Nothing is worse than getting sun sick at a festie. Trust me, I know from experience.

There is an unbelievable amount of good music coming at you this weekend, but here is my list of “must sees”:

1. Bright Giant

2. The Avett Brothers

3. Greensky Bluegrass

4. Leftover Salmon

5. Atmosphere

Obviously all of the rest of the bands are amazing, but these are ones that you CANNOT miss! I just saw Leftover Salmon at Summer Camp and it was sick. And Atmosphere is my shiz for realz.
