It is not unusual for me to be one of the last to know about a killer band. However, once I hear something that gets me on the first listen, I am usually a fan for life (or at least the life of a band).

I heard a song by The Heavy Pets on the Sirius XM channel Jam On a few weeks ago, and I haven’t stopped listening to them since. As I started looking up the band I realized that yet again I was one of the last to know. The good news is, I found them just in time! The Heavy Pets are playing at Vaudeville Mews on 7.24.11. You can bet that I will be there for sure.
